The Eastern Branch’s membership now stands at above 400.We would love to see more of you at branch events. All attending enjoy them. With the resumption of branch funding and the increase in members providing email address’s we will now be producing a printed summer newsletter for paid up members without email. Please send your email address if you wish to receive all branch newsletters. You can also read them here.

We currently organise 4 events in each calendar year to which members of other areas are very welcome (see newsletter for details). We have also tried pub outings for members during the summer. These attracted the same few people each time. We have none of these planned for 2012 but should anybody wish to organise one at their local please let the Secretary, Chairman or Social Secretary know. We would be delighted to see you at your local. As stated above the next event is the Social and AGM at the end of March.

Recent Events

Spring outing

In May some 15 members joined forces with the Duxford Society to visit Bletchley Park. We were guided by one of the founders of the Park as a museum who also had wartime experience of the place. So in addition to the interesting displays we were treated to very knowledgeable background information. Sadly there is very little evidence of NATS occupation.
