AGM Information

AGM 2011

This year’s AGM was held in a conference room at CAA House on the 7th May 2011.   Most members will know that our parent organisations (CAA and NATS) have withdrawn their supporting grants.

As from 2013 we are unlikely to get any more funding from either the CAA or NATS so we will have to become self funding. Current funds will have to be monitored closely so grants to branches have been reduced and Contrail costs have also reduced by reducing the number of issues per annum and by distributing by email where agreed with the member concerned.

The AGM has been reduced to a one day event at CAA House.

The morning session was a meeting of Branch reps. and committee members, where most of the debate was associated with the financial implications.  This was followed by a buffet lunch at "Charlies" and the open AGM in the afternoon.

The minutes of the meeting and the reports presented to the meeting can be found in the agm2011minutes.pdf document.
